1974 Chevy c10 Longbed Stepside Pickup

1974 Chevy c10 Longbed Stepside pickup with just under 63,000 original miles. Truck has never been out of New Mexico and started its life as a truck for the city. Runs nice, engine is very strong, just driving it all around this morning... hauling trash etc. Has minor rust at the normal fender bottoms (an easy fix) and the bed is, well, shot! It needs to be replaced, wood beds and the high desert sun is tough. LMC Truck has the replacements in their catalog. It's the 70's so your bonus is a working cassette deck radio. This truck would be a GREAT restore truck. Never wrecked. The down side is that someone along the way took out the three speed on the column and put in an automatic... I would (if I don't sell it) put a three speed back it. The automatic is okay but the three on the tree would be better. You can get the truck up to80 mph pretty easy, but I can tell the truck would like to have the manual back in it.
The tires are good, custom wheels. I want to point out that the automatic transmission leaks fluid some and appears to need a gasket.

New fuel pump, new alternator, new battery. Fresh oil change and tune up.
