Introduced in 1975, the Cosworth Vega was a limited edition sports model of the popular Vega compact car. Featuring a 2.0L inline 4 cylinder tuned by the famous Cosworth Engineering Ltd in England, the Cosworth Vega pumped out 110hp and featured an aluminum block, 16 valves, dual overhead camshafts and forged pistons. The car was limited to 5,000 units, with dealers fighting for slots to get a single car to sell, however a change in the market meant that just... 3,508 were produced, making it a very rare English/American classic. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this fine 1975 Cosworth Vega for your consideration. Finished in the only color available, Black with Gold accents, this Vega is very nice and clean. The body is straight and free of rot and the paint is very good apart from a few small spots here and there. A rear hatch with heated rear window, cowl hood with decals, and 13in gold alloy wheels round out the unique exterior treatment. The interior is extremely clean, with black front bucket seat, factory wheel, a crack free dash, unique gold dash trim and full instrumentation. The interior is very nice other than a bit of peeling on the dashboard trim. A unique plaque shows the special serial number of each car. This particular Cosworth is number 0188 and is in excellent shape. The car runs and drives very well, with lots of pep and the sporty handling that was praised when it was new. The car even comes with a ton of original documents such as the original window sticker, owners manual, shop books, and other paperwork. A rare and unique collectable, this car is sure to continue its upward appreciation. To see over 80 photos of this car, including undercarriage please visit our website
