Car description

Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 19th year in the classic and muscle car business. Yes, it's another beautiful Chevelle brought to you by the Texas Hill Country's premier muscle car dealership. This one, however, is powered by the legendary LS6 454, which had the highest factory horsepower rating of any car during what's become known as the 'first golden age of muscle cars'. This 1970 Chevelle SS454 is loaded with features including power steering, power front disc brakes,... Vintage Air A/C (2016), a Muncie M21 4-speed transmission (3925661) with Hurst shifter and Centerforce II clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing, a 12 bolt rear end with Posi and 3.55 gears, F41 special performance suspension, new adjustable shocks, bucket seats with console, new dash and instrument panel (2016), Retro AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth and iPhone jack, and Kenwood speakers. The thumping heart of this sweetheart is a 1970 LS6 block (BCN 3963512, CD L-1-9 or 12-1-69) with 4-bolt mains. Square port, closed chamber heads (CN 3964291, CD L-12-9 or 12-12-69) are fed by a Winters Foundry aluminum intake (CN 3963569). Additional goodies include a stainless steel crankshaft (7416), forged rods with 7/16" bolts, forged domed pistons (3976014), 3/8" pushrods with high performance rockers, new Comp Cams Thumper hydraulic roller cam, a Holley 750 double pumper carburetor, a DeWitts high performance aluminum radiator, and an 8" harmonic balancer (10216339). This impressive engine was rebuilt in 2015, has driven approximately 500 miles since, and pulls like no other. A new set of B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A tires are waiting to be turned into smoke by your right foot! This fresh, stunning, and powerful classic is ready for the next 48 years.
