This is a 1980 Z28 Camaro with T-Tops that has a 383 Stroker in it. I bought is in July of 2013 from a mom in Casa Grande. NM who was selling it for her son that is deployed in Iraq. I do not know anything about this engine or tranny as far as to how built it is but was told that her son was into street racing and this thing does have some pretty good power but when I got it. it had a lot of fancy stuff under the hood creating too much heat ( a lot of chrome in hoses for radiator and heater) that was causing a situation similar to a vapor lock. I have the heater by-passed because I recall the blower for the climate control was not working and I never checked into it (possibly a blown fuse) because I live in southern NM and we get warm/hot weather most of the time. I have put over $1500 into it over the past 1 1/2 years because when the engine gets hot it would act like it was being robbed of power but now it has power but think it might be a timing thing to get it to its full potential. Things changed are the fuel pump. plugs. wires. distributor. coil. ignition box and carburetor (Holley 670). This has a good sound system in it that sounds decent and is a daily driver but needs some fine tuning by someone who knows more than I do to give it its full potential. I also have a couple totes of spare OEM parts that also includes a set of extra T-Tops. back window. rear spoiler for back window and enough parts to fill the trunk. back seat and passenger seat. The buyer is responsible for shipping but I will help coordinate the logistics of transporting it if needed. Also note that deposit is non-refundable if winning buyer changes their mind and backs out. Thanks.
