Car description |
---|
This 1935 Chevrolet Standard Sedan was purchased several years ago from the original family that bought the car new in 1935! The final price out the door in 1935 -- only $867.50. It's appreciated just a bit since then. The original bill of sale and registration can be seen in the attached photos.
The car underwent a frame-on restoration and you will find zero rust or fillers on this 100% all steel body. As part of the restoration, the engine was rebuilt (beautiful condition - see photos), the transmission was rebuilt, it was given new but original style brakes, the interior was completely redone, it was repainted and given a new top, had all gauges restored, and converted to 12-volt. It starts with reliability, every time. With this car, I am offering a spare motor and spare transmission.
This vintage Chevy has been featured in 3 magazines and is a multi-show winner as evidenced by the plaques and trophies in the attached photos. It's won Best Antique, Best in Show, Best 1930's Domestic Stock, and several more...
Whether you just want a vintage car to display at car shows, or want to add this to an upscale car collection, or just something to drive around town and get attention wherever you go, this Chevy is in a class of its own. You don't see many vehicles offered in this condition! It is ONLY being sold as it belongs to my father who is no longer able to drive and maintain it. We are hoping to see it go to a true vintage car enthusiast. For questions, please feel free to call or text me at (858) 703-7061.
