Car description |
---|
1969 Camaro in very good original condition - except for a repaint back in the 80's I was told by the previous owner. Original color is Daytona Yellow (can be seen in a few shots where paint has flaked off) but it still carries it's original Black standard interior with horseshoe shifter. The floors, trunk, frame/rockers, and the shocks that tie into the trunk area are near mint as shown in the pictures. The car is not original to NY. It spends all of it's life in Pennsylvania until 2007. It's roadworthy except for no e-brake and reverse lights. It has a small block 350 out of a 70's truck with mild cam. Car also has been punched out closer to a 383 motor now and has great power and accleration. I believe the car may have had a 307 originally as it has mono leaf springs and non posi. The brakes are front disc (non power) and rear serum and work as they should. I have driven the car very sparingly and have not driven it more than 4-6 miles to the grocery store and locally. The engines runs smooth and shifts through gears flawlessly in forward and reverse. There are a few spots that are typical of this car to have rust after 49 years and I have included pictures of those areas in front of the drivers door on the lower front fender and just behind the drivers door on the lower quarter panel. The car reflects just under 100K on the odometer but I have no way to verify,. The shape of the interior with the exception of a small tear on the drivers east would point too that being possibly true mileage. I also pulled the rear seat out and took a picture so you could see how great of shape the floors are in. The mufflers have some holes in them but it stills sounds real good when its running. I could start the car and send additional photos to serious bidders if I am available. I can be here to help you with the shipping company if need be. Must have payment in fill before I will release the registration to the winning bidder. I will delete bids from those with 0 feedback. Glad to answer any reasonable questions. Thank you for viewing my auction and best of luck!On Aug-06-18 at 03:20:49 PDT, seller added the following information:
