Car description |
---|
I have included lots of pictures and detailed description. PLEASE read it all before bidding. Any questions, please ask BEFORE bidding, I check e-mail every day.
I purchased this car about 10 years ago with the intention to restore but have way too many projects and would like to see this one go to a new home and maybe actually get finished. It needs a complete ground-up restoration and a lot of sheet metal replacement but has tons of original parts and hard-to-find pieces. Everything you might need to restore this one is readily available in the aftermarket.Drivetrain: I believe this is the original engine. I have never attempted to crank it and just assume it needs a full rebuild. Appears to be a 283 2-barrel, date code on intake manifold is correct and CF suffix stamped on front engine pad. Air compressor, power steering pump, brackets, exhaust manifolds, all there. Distributor is not original and is missing breather and radiator. Radiator shroud is included. Powerglide trans is still there. Interior is probably 90% complete but obviously needs full restoration. Has windshield trim moldings, door panel trims, bucket seats with chrome trim (rear seat base spring is included but not shown), console (has broken lid), shifter, missing a couple of headliner bows. Factory AC and power steering and all parts are there. Frame and suspension looks original Floorpans - completely shot and need full replacement Roof is in very good shape with only surface rust Hood and trunk lid - too rusty to fix, need replacement Quarters - patch or replace, depends on your skill level and budget Doors - patch or replace, depends on your skill level and budget Fenders - need lower patches on both or replace, one inner fender is good and one needs replaced Bumpers - both there, could be used as cores to be re-chromed Most glass is good and usable. Rear driver quarter glass is missing and was filled in a long time ago with plexiglas by a previous owner. No titl*,Sold with Bill of Sale ONLY, as that is all I have and all that is required in GA.
Car is located about one hour drive southwest of Atlanta, GA. You will need a trailer, car rolls easily but obviously does not drive. I may be able to deliver in southeast states, for a fee, and only if pre-paid in FULL. If you want a price for delivery just contact me through Ebay.
Any questions just ask. Thanks - Mick
