THIS CALIFORNIA NATIVE 1964 CHEVY LONG BED TRUCK WAS BUILT AT THE OAKLAND PLANT IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THIS TRUCK HAS SPENT ITS ENTIRE LIFE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA . THIS ORIGINAL CUSTOM CAB BIG BACK WINDOW TRUCK STILL MAINTAINS IT'S ORIGINAL BLACK PAINT AND SIDE MOLDINGS ALONG WITH IT'S REAL CALIFORNIA PATINA. THIS IS A SUPER CLEAN STOCK TRUCK THAT IS A GREAT RUNNER / DRIVER.

THE BODY- The factory floor pans are solid with light surface rust only, they do not show any signs of welding, patching or repairs and they do not have pin holes, they look good. Both of the kick panels are in good condition with no signs of rusty holes or repairs they look good. The fire wall shows no signs of rusty areas on the driver's side or passenger side upper corners of the fire wall, the fire wall is solid and clean. The exterior bed sides are original to the truck and overall they are in good original condition, there are no signs of rust repairs, patching or old bodywork. The drivers side rear bedside was bumped at some point and there is a light wave in this area. The top of the bed and the stake pockets are in good condition with no signs of waves or repairs to the stake pockets. The interior bed side panels are in good solid condition and are not beat up or dented. The original doors are in good condition with no signs of rust repair, patching or old collisions just light surface rust. The original front fenders are clean with no signs of rust repairs, patching or old collisions just light surface rust. The original inner fender wells shows no signs of rust or repairs they look good. The original battery tray is intact and it is not rotted out it looks good. The radiator support is also original and shows no signs of rust or repairs it looks good. Both the inner and outer rockers are original to the truck and are not full of body filler, there are no rust holes in them just light pitting and surface rust, they both look solid for being original. The inner rockers and body braces are solid with no signs of rust holes or pitting, they look good. The cab corners are not rusted out and do not have holes in them they are intact and solid. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both inside and outside are rust free and are in good condition. The top of the metal dash is in good condition with no signs of rust or rust repairs. The rain gutters are all solid along with the roof and they show no signs of rust or rust repairs. The hood is in good condition with no signs of rust repair, just light surface rust and it fits nicely to the fenders. The bottom side of this truck is not rotted out and it is apparent, when looking underneath that this truck was a dry vehicle. This truck has all of its original GM panels and overall the body on this truck is in good condition. This is an original truck and it has a few small dings and scrapes but overall this truck is straight and clean. The original black and white paint on this truck is thin through showing its real California patina.

THE INTERIOR- The inside of this truck is clean and presentable and the original front seat is intact but the driver's side material is tearing. The original rubber mat is in good condition with no holes or where marks, it looks good. The original sill plates are intact and there are no rust holes in them. The glove box liner is intact and in good condition. The instrument cluster / gauges are clean looking and all in good working order. The heater blower and the heater switch are intact and are in good working order. The original cardboard sun visors are intact and in ok condition. The original steering wheel is in good condition with no cracks and the horn ring is also clean. There are no added speaker holes cut in to this truck and the original radio is intact and is in good working order. Overallthe inside of this truck is in good original condition.

THE MOTOR- This truck is equipped with the original high torque 283 8 cy motor that is bone stock and in good running order. This truck runs good and this motor is not a leaker or smoker it is dependable. The motor is equipped with all the original GM factory accessories.

THE TRANS- The trans is the original 3 speed manual transmission on the column and it is good working order. The column shifter is nice and tight and the clutch does not slip and when you drop this truck in gear there are no universal joint clunks or noises.. This truck is equipped with a factory overdrive and all of the original components are intact but the solenoid is working.

THE OVER ALL- This C10 long bed truck is a nice patina driver that was well taken care of and was not beat on or abused over the years. This is a very original truck that still has its original black California license plates and the original owner's manual. The original jack and the jack hardware are also intact below the driver's seat. The front suspension looks to be original to the truck and the truck steers straight on both high and low speeds but keep in mind it's not a new truck. This truck has the original stock springs and the original rims are in good condition. The tires are newer and have good tread and they are in good condition. The original wood is in overall good original condition but there are some small missing spots of wood in the corners where water sat. The original electrical looks to be in good condition and the T3 head lights, dash lights, dome light, horn, turn signals, tail lights, radio, heater blower and wipers are all in good working order. The windshield and the rest of the original glass is not cracked or pitted and is in good original condition. The front and rear bumpers are original to the truck they are straight and clean. The grill and side moldings are original and they are in good original condition. The brake master cylinder is original and the brakes are in good working order but I recommend having the drums and pads inspected for your own peace of mind. The exhaust looks to be original and it sounds good and does not leak. The bottom side of this truck is not full of under coating from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not a rotted out mess. Over all this Chevy is a blast to drive and it gets attention while on the road this is a hard to find affordable classic in thiscondition that will only go up in value.
