Description
For Sale: Mildly Restored 1987 Chevrolet V10 4x4 Truck. Has PW/PL, cruise, AM/FM Cassette, A/C, and everything works as it should. The original powertrain was removed and replaced with a 5.3 LS engine out of a 2005 silverado/4L60E transmission/241 C transfer case. The valve covers and oil pan were removed to inspect the engine, the transmission was rebuilt, and the transfer case was opened up, inspected and re-sealed. The drivetrain is very reliable, economical, and has much more power than the original 350/700R4.The body had an average amount of rust upon purchasing. The following was replaced with new parts before painting the truck black (original two-tone bronze/tan): hood, doors, fenders, bedsides, rocker panels, cab corners, inner fenders, bumpers. All panels were undercoated before installation along with the frame to prevent any future rust issues.
Along with the body, the following is a list of new parts that I have purchased/installed (receipts available for most): flexplate, radiator, motor mounts, shocks/steering damper, front calipers/pads, fuel tank/pump/filter/line, A/C compressor/drier/condenser/lines (R134A), heater core, power steering pump, belts, hoses, window motors, window tint (20%), speakers, dash cover, seat cover, headliner, interior brushed aluminum trim bezels, roll up tonneau cover, BFG 33x10.50x15 all terrian tires (approximately 12k miles), wheel trim rings, center caps...and I'm sure there are a few items I'm forgetting.
