Car description |
---|
1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C-20, 2wd, 8' bed. This truck has some really cool options and still retains the factory SPID sheet on the glove box door showing the options it was ordered with! The interior is in excellent shape, the seat was re-upholstered, and the carpeting was replaced a few years back as well. All the gauges and lights work, along with the heat as well. AM radio lights up but no sounds comes out (could be the speaker)
The truck has the factory 402 big block with the correct heads and intake (I have pics to verify), with a turbo 400 automatic transmission, power steering with tilt wheel, factory power disc brakes, factory gauges, 354 Dana 60 rear, new rear trailing arms, new shocks, all new brakes, hoses, power steering lines, truck has been detailed inside and out as well as engine bay. truck was an Indiana truck all of it's life until recently, the original warranty book and protect-o-plate are still in the glove box along with the dealership receipts when it was purchased new in 1971, it also still has the original oak wood bed with a couple minor spots needing replacing (I would replace it all), factory dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, 16.5 Tires and Wheels & factory caps (bias tires need replacing). The Engine runs strong & TH400 Transmission shifts firm with no issues, clean New Jersey title. Truck had new rocker panels and cab corners installed as well as floor supports sometime during it's life (they are still solid with no rust). The truck is not loaded with body filler and is very straight & solid! The truck was re-painted once with what appears to be lacquer paint and represents the same or better than the factory paint, very presentable for a driver. The truck draws a crowd every time I take it out and is a conversation piece!
Additional photos and a YouTube video available upon request.
