1937 Chevy 1.5 ton

1937 Chevy 1.5 ton stake body barn find. This truck has been in a barn since 1953. Odometer shows 29701. I can’t be sure how accurate that is but since it was on road for 16 years it could be correct. Motor is free. New plugs, wires, rotor, cap, condenser and battery. Rebuilt the fuel pump which seems to pump good. Rebuilt carb but not sure it’s 100 percent. Was going to send it out to have it professionally done. She cranks well and had it fired up a couple time but only for a few seconds. This truck is all there down to crank and jack behind seat and road flares hanging on the stake body. Also purchased the spare tire carrier for under the bed. I have another project that I’m still working on among many other things that occupy my time. This would be a great start to a restoration as I said it’s all there. Some dents, one on roof like someone sat their big butt up there, but no rot. Get this piece of history.
