Car description

Seldom seen and highly desireable, first post WWII production model. Running, driving project. Not a show vehicle or trailer queen, but garaged and driven around town. Take it to the next level and double it's value, use it as advertisement for your business, or just cruise and enjoy it as-is. Presents very well and gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. 216 Stovebolt-6 (1951 motor, common upgrade in the day), 3spd on the floor. New Coker WWW tires and tubes; wheels blasted and painted; new brakes, hoses, hardware, whl. cylinders, master cyl; new GM authorized hub caps (have the originals); upgraded roller bearings and seals; 12v. conversion with new wiring harness front to rr, and GM 1-wire alternator; working turn signals added; new brake, dimmer, and headlight switches; new tail light assemblies w/ blue dots; new battery and cables; new water pump; new belt and hoses; fresh tune-up; orig. horn refurbished and working; gauge cluster refurbished: speedo and odometer working, oil and temp work, volts not connected, fuel gauge not working; new steering wheel; new door and window cranks; new seat upholstery and seat belts; sound and heat deadening on floor and kicks w/ new jute and rubber mat; new kick panels. All new red oak/white oak/stainless bed, installed 7/1, and looks beautiful. Starts easily, runs and drives like you'd expect of a nice 72 yr.old truck. This truck still needs some work, but you can drive it while you tinker and upgrade. It's a "20-footer"... 10 if you squint, body and paint are a little rough, but it looks great going down the road.
A few extra parts, spares, and originals to go with it, along with a shop manual and cover. This truck has a bonded NC state assigned title in my name. An NC buyer will also get the restored museum quality year of mfg. NC tag to go with it. If you have any questions about the truck, please ask before committing to a purchase.

**Please Note: The engine in the truck may be a 235. Serial# is JADII54006. Casting# on head is 3835499. It's positively a 1951 low-pressure babbited motor. I cannot say with certainty whether it's a 216 or 235.
