Car description |

1955 Chevy 2 dr post bel air
4 speed Muncie (grabs perfect in all gears clutch is great)
Engine is a Built 400 sbc (strong and powerful, Sanderson block hugger headers, dual Flowmaster exhaust, new air cleaner, carb, oil changed, spark plugs, cap and rotor, valve covers, battery, wiring, mild camand radiator) only about 200 miles since the rebuild!
Suspension on the car is Pocket leaf spring rear, Camaro front clip with new coils, brake booster, rotors, pads and calipers.
Also, New tail lights and bezels painted front (smoothie) and back bumper. Wheels/ tires: New aftermarket all black rally wheels staggered, Nitto (backs are 255/50/17 front are 215/45/17) with less than 100 miles on them, and Louvered hood. Car is painted with a Hot Rod black kit which is basically a semi gloss primer.
CONS:most windows need to be replaced, there is almost no rusting minor surface on under the frame rail. Needs new door seals and weather-stripping. Gauges aren't hooked up, interior needs work. Headliner is ok, needs to be tightened, very solid car!Great fun running driving and dependable car. These are getting harder to find. Either 40k and up for a nice one or 20k and below for a full on project or rust bucket. This is defiantly a car you can work on as you drive it and enjoy it.
