1968 Chevrolet Chevelle SS **Pro-Touring** Tribute 380+HP

Wow!!! Up for sale is a car from my personal collection with a show quality appearance. This car was given all the little additions that most overlook. One of the best color combinations you will ever find on a 1968 Chevelle! Please pay attention to the level of detail that perfectly match the red and black accents. The balance with the silver tones is amazing. Even the seats belts are black with a red release button!!
I started with a clean car from Alabama and treated the car to frame on restoration with a Pro-Touring/ Resto-Mod look. This car will get you too and from the cruise-in with style. Please see last picture to view how she started prior to being in my possession.

Car History:
I found the car listed at a local consignment dealer after the owner decided to move on to his next project. Car was a solid 9/10 rust free car. Original paint color on bottom floor boards( see pic). No Rust on any panels. Car has no rust bubbles, clean frame, trunk, and floor boards. All electrica, lights, and gauges work. Nice red bucketseats and full interior kit.
Car underwent full drivetrain rebuild by prior owner. At this time, car was given a rebuilt 350 bored .30 to a 383 with a 4 barrel Holly Carb and EdelBrock Intake. Not sure of Cam specs, but itsnice a lumpy. Strong Oil pressure and no smoke on start up. They added Chevy Aluminum Heads for a little extra HP. Car has between 380-410 HP with current set up. TH350 Turbo was rebuilt and all lines and seals replaced. This car was acolumn shif, but converted to theclassic staple floor mounted shift. Chevelle has a firm killer shift kit that will peel the tires on launch. Red interior was installed and Cortez Silver Paint was completed.
The following completed since I took over the car:
New bottom black Base/Clear for SS style appearance. SS vinyl stripes added. 3M brand, not a cheap knock off. We buffed and waxed the car to a showroom shine with synthetic sealer 3 stage kit.
New Tune Up- Spark Plugs, Wires and holders, MSD HEI, Air Cleaner. Professionally tuned Carb, Oil Change
New Stall Converter 2200-2800 Hughes. Replaced all fluid.
New Eaton 10 Bolt 323 Posi Rear End and gear oil
New Period correct Water pump
New Radiator and all cooling hoses
New Power Steering Conversion Kit- Gear Box, Pump, Lines, Idler Arm
New wheel bearing and seals
New Electric Fan with Fan Controller. Car runs cool at 180-195 in any weather.
Front disc brake conversion with slotted rotors. Full rear drum components. Car will stop on a dime.
New Gas tank, sending unit, hoses
New steering wheel and alignment
New 20x 10 rear and 20x8.5 American Racing Tire. Nankang 275/ 40 Rear, 245/40 front. Less than 200Miles driven
Adjustable Rear air shocks and slight front modification to front springs for perfect stance!
New Radio- Bluetooth AM/FM receiver with iPod and Pandora playback. 6 speaker set up. ( 6x9 rear, dome tweeters, and 4 1/2 kick panels.
New dual custom bent exhaust and flowmaster mufflers with hangers
New Headman headers for angle plug heads. No issues with wire rubbing or over spark.
New chrome bumpers, door handles, tail lamp bezels. All other chrome was taken off and polished.
I have all documentation for new owner of all completed work over the last 4 months!! This car is as Turn-Key as they get. I normally complete 2-3 Chevelles a summer. This by far is the best on I have seen on Ebay this summer. Car was set up for me, but I have started another project. Many of my cars sell to high end dealers that up the price and stick you with fees, mark-ups, and interest rates. This car runs strong and straight. All test runs completed and I have driven on many short and long trips. HP is great for a small block and good bang for current gas prices.
