1972 Chevy C10Super CST
This is my 1972 C10 Cheyenne Custom Super Sport that Im selling. Has the factory 350 V8 that runs good. Just to be clear with my description I may be harsh with it only because I do not want the next owner expecting a new truck. This is a older truck that looks decent and runs good. Its not perfect.I have owned a dozen C10's and this one is by far the smoothest driving one I have had. I forget Im in a old truck on the freeway. This truck looks good, but you get right on it you can start picking the old paint job apart. This truck has been owned by one person since 1979. You can tell that some one loved this truck at one point. Sadly they got to old to keep up on it and I bought it from that persons son. The paint that is on it is not factory it was repainted at some point. The original paint is white/olive green/white/olive green. My plan was to have it painted back to that color combo but the shop I use closed down and were I live its hard to find reliable painters. I had it at a shop for over a month and they barely touched it. They just took some stuff apart and the track they were on it would take years for them to finish the truck. Now Im ready to just move on. The body has some rust in the lower cab corner on passenger side, there is rust on the window lip,and lower door corner looks like it has rust but it looks like someone treated it. The floors are super solid, The bed also seems to be rust free. Please note this is a old truck and is being sold as a fixer upper that runs and drives but is not perfect and is not a new truck. I love the interior on it and it is s in really good shape and all original. The truck is really loaded for a C10. Has the carpet on the kick panels, chrome pedal trim, leather headliner with chrome trim, and after market AC that is not blowing cold, wood trim cluster, wood trim glovebox, wood trim exterior inserts, cab light, upgraded suspension, and the seat fills much more plush then the other C10's I have owned. The truck has a lot of paper work with it. I found a stack of oil change receipts and the order of the millage follows the odometer until it sits for a couple years it then jumps 100k miles. The millage reads 70k on the third to last oil change then the next one reads 180k. Im guessing this is when the son got it and took it in and just assumed it was 180k and not 80k. So by my paper work this truck is a original miles of what it reads on the odometer but who knows. It includes the original warranty and manual for the truck also. You can see on the fire wall that the factory numbers and codes are still written on the fire wall. My understanding is each number and letter means original options. They would write this on the assembly line ad the more letters or numbers it has the more options and you can see this is loaded. It comes with two studded tires if you want them along with the factory spare. I will add a driving video of the truck below. I took many photos so you can see the truck from all lights and sides.
