Car description

This clean, recently restored 1971 Chevrolet C10 pickup offers chiseled good looks enhanced by shiny black paint that gives it a beautiful finished look. It's a good, honest truck that presents well, with straight bodywork, a comfortable interior, and a smooth-running 350 small block V8. If you're looking for a way to combine work and fun, this is the answer. The first thing you notice about this truck is the inky black paint, which is fresh, deep and shiny, showcasing... the good-sized investment it took making it look that way. That ties in nicely with the truck's old-school look, a handsome, rugged design that is a big part of why these trucks seem to be red hot today. Most Chevy truck fans will agree that the styling on these trucks is a slam-dunk, so there was no need to shave, French, channel, or chop anything, and the result is a machine that invites you to look closer without beating you over the head with its uniqueness. That also means you won't be afraid to use it as intended, although the shiny black bed is so nice you might think twice about just throwing something back there. Bright chrome bumpers, a proper grille, and new lenses for all the lights add to the highly detailed look. Tan vinyl and cloth is the covering of choice inside, where the original bench seat has been reupholstered with an NOS cover and remains firm and comfortable. The dash has been painted black to contrast with the tan dash pad, and matching tan door panels tie it all together very nicely. The C10 offered a fairly comprehensive array of gauges, all of which are fully functional, although the needles are a little faded today. The simple 2-spoke steering wheel feels substantial in your hands, a nice change from the small, fat wheels we get today, and all the weather seals are new, so it seals up and doesn't rattle. Not a lot of flash, just honest, solid workmanship and elegant simplicity. The engine bay iss very clean and tidy, with a stock look that's enhanced by a few upgrades tot he 350, like new rods, pistons, and a slight cam. Satin black is the dominant theme, keeping the OEM look and feel throughout, and it really makes the Chevy Orange block stand out. A factory air cleaner makes the top end look authentic along with a pair of matching valve covers, although the Edelbrock intake manifold and Holley 4-barrel carburetor give it away. The transmission is a TH350 3-speed automatic spinning the original rear end, which wears new shocks. Original cast iron exhaust headers dump into a dual exhaust system that sounds great and dumps out just behind the bumper using a pair of angled tips. Good-looking 17-inch Body Coddington wheels look great and carry staggered 245/65/17 front and 255/65/17 rear performance radials. This truck represents a very clean, sturdy, usable, straight truck that's ready to enjoy right away. Great power, easy drivability, and no stories mean it's time to get into the game. Call today!
