Car description |
---|
This is no ordinary 1969 Camaro custom build and it stands out in a crowd of muscle cars because of the flawless details, beautiful design, and quality of workmanship. This is an awesome car because it is a show car, but it can also perform. The car is a nice balance between performance and art.
The goal of the build was to keep the stock look of an original 1969 Camaro Z28 with all of its chrome and badging but then upgrade the frame, suspension, engine, breaks, interior with new technology.

The frame off rotisserie restoration took five years and was completed in 2013. It has only been driven about 2,100 miles since completion. Everything works well and runs just as good as it looks. We spared no expense, cut no corners and the car is loaded with subtle details. This is basically a brand new car since everything has been replaced. Ben, of Hermance Designs, designed the exterior and interior and this visual picture guided the build process. Triangle Restoration in Pennsylvania did the bodywork and paint. Frank Serafine from Prodigy Customs in Florida took over, finished out the build using II Much Fabrication for electrical, interior by 1-Off Rides and JR Auto Center, and tuned by Mike Norris Motorsports.
The car comeswith three binders that contain all receipts and pictures that document the build process. It took $230,230.00 to build this car. General cost breakdown: The car and parts were $130k with about $100k in labor. If you were to build this exact car today, you would have to spend well over $300k. The general rule is that it takes about 300 hours to build a car like this and the current average hourly rate is $95.
This car renders most "car guys" speechless and they state that they are overwhelmed with the details and for some reason; women lose their minds and take their clothes off (happened twice).
You are not buying this car because of what it was from the factory but you are buying it for what it is now.
My advice is if you want a high-end car and want to save money and your marriage then buy a car that is already built. There are several very nice high-end builds in this price range on eBay motors, it just comes down to what you like.
I will pay for shipping if in the U.S.
If you are interested in purchasing the car, I recommend that you come to see it in person. I can pick you up at a local airport (Philadelphia, PA or Baltimore, MD or Harrisburg, PA).
If the car is not sold by July 2018, it will go to a Barrett Jackson Auction in September2018.
