This is a very well kept car. Car was built in Fremont California and never left California. Came out of the factory Marina blue with Black interior. Has the original 327 and powerglide transmission with 92,000 miles. Car starts up right away with no trouble at all, even in a cold start. Battery can stay connected and wont die when sitting for months. Car stays running and wont stall, you can cruise all day in it. I have all the original trim and emblems that are in good shape, just needs some polishing, bed rails are decent and can be worked and polished. Only original pieces this car is missing are the side mirrors, air cleaner and one driver side door trim. This is a AC car with ac vents in the dash and I have new vent grills for them. AC has been disconnected from the motor but still have the original parts in a container that will go with the car.
The paint job is new. 2stage base coat, clear coat and was painted exactly the same Marina blue Paint Code F that it came from the factory originally. The doors, fenders and hood where removed for painting and for painting the door jams. Before that this car has never been painted. It looks good but still needs to be wet sanded and buffed. Bed is in great shape, it was supposed to be rhino lined but never got to it, plus it will look better painted the same color as the car to keep that original look. I do have some extra paint and clear left over to paint the bed. This car has zero rust and never see rust in its life. Floors are look great no rust and original sheet metal.
Interior is all there. It was painted black just like it came from the factory. I have the Glove box and was painted as well. Car comes with new black carpet, arm rests and door panels. Bench seat needs to be redone, dash pad and headliner. Head lights work but rear light don't. I think they just need new light bulbs because they worked in the past.
All the trim looks good and just needs to be worked and polished. All the side trim is off the car as well as some window trim but have all the original pieces except for the drivers door side trim. Also have all the el camino and 327 emblems. Grill looks great. Front bumper looks good but the rear bumper is hit and needs to be taken care off. All the windows are in excellent shape and roll up easy.
I took the picture of the Engine data plate for reference.
