Car description |
---|
Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful, numbers matching, 1972 Corvette Stingray Coupe with the original high performance LS5 454ci big block engine and only 50,340 original miles. This Corvette looks absolutely stunning, runs terrifically, and is an awesome driver that is ready to be enjoyed. There is no way a similar Corvette could be built or restored for anything near our asking price. Please peruse all of the photos, video, numbers, and other information below to get a true sense of how exceptionally nice this Corvette really is.
In addition to the LS5 454ci engine this Corvette is absolutely loaded with almost option available in 1972. It was ordered with air conditioning (which still blows cold), power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt/telescopic steering column, factory custom leather interior, and white letter tires.
This Stingray still has the original LS5 big block engine that was installed in the car new at the factory in St. Louis in 1971. Numbers matching is very important in Corvette pricing and even much more significant for a big block example. In addition to the last 6 digits of the VIN stamped on the engine, the engine block casting date and engine assembly date are also chronologically correct. The VIN stamp on the block and the engine assembly date stamping are pictured below. The transmission is also original with the VIN stamp and transmission assembly date pictured below.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
