Car description |

For sale is this 1966 Laguna Blue L79 327/350hp Corvette coupe. To my knowledge just about every number on this car is correct, and everything works properly as well. It received a great restoration back in the 80’s with very little mileage put on the car since then. It’s been very well cared for, and is a beautiful color combination with the 414 Bright Blue interior.
The car starts perfectly on cold starts and then comes up to normal operating temperature as it should. The brakes work perfect, and it shifts through the gears very smooth. The doors open and close extremely easy. All the gauges are in proper working order, as well as the lights and turn signals all operate as they should. Finally, the radio, power antennae, and clock all work flawlessly as well. Again, everything works just great on this car.
The exterior chrome and stainless are still in great condition as well. The paint on the car looks great and is easily a 7 or 8 out of 10. There are a couple of spots where the paint has minor checks and cracks, but you have to look very close for them. There are also a couple of touch up spots on the paint around the front nose and fenders. Again you have to get very close to see these, so it’s a great 3 to 5 footer on the paint.
The interior is in really great shape as well. The carpet and underlayment was just completely replaced and looks stunning against the darker Laguna Blue exterior. The dash cluster, center console, headliner, and door panels are all in great shape as well. The seats look great with one minor blemish on the driver seat lower cushion. Optioned teak wheel is original and not a reproduction.
All the glass is correct and dated except the windshield.
