Car description |

For sale by owner. Purchased as a full frame off restoration and owned for 15 years - and driven approximately 3000 miles during my time of ownership. I've included some original restoration notes here along with a photo of the car prior to full chassis reassembly. The mileage indicated is shown on the title as original miles.
Details not apparent in the photos:
*Original Wonder Bar Radio (working)
*All gauges are working correctly and accurately
*The windshield wipers work correctly however the original water reservoir is not in place
*All exterior chrome was beautifully restored - however I see one place where the chrome plexiglass retainer has a crease (approx 1 inch).
* I had an alarm system installed right after purchase, however I never used it and it has since been deactivated
* A new soft top and frame was installed in the renovation and is present - however I never used it (opting instead to either drive with the top off or the hard top installed). For this reason it should be expected that this lack of use will generate some work in order to bring its appearance up to proper standards.
I have really enjoyed owning this car while living in southern California - and have only driven it to various club events and shows (with a few trophies taken home in the process). I loved this car and am only selling due to a stroke effecting my ability to enjoy is ownership. Its a fine example.

CORRECTION: I just remembered that although the correct original clock is in place it is not keeping time.

In conversation I am reminded that I did one mechanical change after the restoration. As noted by the restoration guys in their notes they installed a "RV" grind profile cam. I really didn't like how that one performed, and I had it changed out to a "higher revving" spec grind (but still not too radical for street use). It has a nice cool "lope" to the idle and drives out really well.
