You are bidding on a solid and mostly complete 1949 CHEVROLET 1300 SERIES DELUXE 5 WINDOW CAB "SHORTBOX" PICKUP TRUCK. It is mostly complete and was run into the shed where it spent the last 30 plus years.It will need a complete restore.The original motor turns freely and it most likely would fire up with a little tinkering and still has the key in the ignition as the picture shows. Most of the body panels are quite solid overall. The drivers side rear fender is rough as the pictures show and there is some rust in the usual areas floors, cab corners, and running boards whichwill require attention. The wooden box liner is long gone with the weather and the rear tailgate, which is in excellent shape, will need to be remounted as the previous owner did some custom welding at the rear of the box.Tires all hold air and it rolls fine. This is a very rare "Deluxe" 5 window cab with chrome trim around the side windows and windshield, door locks, locking gas cap, locking glove box, column shift, inner door rest handles, and dome light. The rear, corner, and side glass is all good but the flat front glass has some cracking and clouding in the lower areas.
