For your consideration is my 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Spyder Turbo Convertible. Original number matching 6 cylinder turbo charged 150hp engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. A factory Daytona Blue car over bright blue interior with a white Power convertible top. This car seems to have every possible option including the convenience group with drivers side remote mirror and passenger side mirror. A very nice feature this car has is the factory gauge package with tachometer, temperature and turbo boost gauges which all work perfectly. The optional sport steering wheel really sets the interior off. The car also has its original tinted windshield and glass. The car now has a custom auto sound am/fm stereo and power antenna . The factory original am radio is included with the car. Wire wheel hubcaps which I believe are original but am not sure on. The radial whitewall tires are a couple years old but show no signs of wear or aging. This car drives as I would imagine a new one did back in 1964. The car starts easily and runs smoothly. The car runs strong. The clutch is easy and engages smoothly. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears and has no slop in the shifter. This is probably the nicest driving Corvair I have ever owned. The car steers tight and straight and goes over bumps without rattles. These things lead me to believe the miles are true as this car has not been restored. The interior is original and shows very little wear . Also the heater works well. The power top is newer and looks and operates properly. The body on this car is clean and has mostly original paint that has only been spotted in in places. There are two quarter size spots right in front of the rear wheel well moldings which appear to have some bubbling but have been that way for years. The car spent all of its life in California before the previous 85 year old owner brought it to his winter Florida home just north of Orlando which is where I found it. The under carriage and floors are original and rust free with no signs of tampering. All the body gaps are perfect as are the door gaps. The doors open and close perfectly. This is an almost completely original car that shows 24600 miles and is believed to be original. The car is located in Hollywood Florida and may be viewed anytime before the end of the auction. A 10% deposit is due 24 hours of auctions end and the balance 72 hours of auctions end. I have described this car to the best of my ability. Call me anytime with any questions. Ian 773 551 5075. The car is being sold as is and as shown with no warrantys expressed or implied. Thank You for looking at my car .
