This restoration has been done from the frame up. It has all rust repaired and all rubber seals and gaskets replaced. Updated wiper motor and gauges, also the heater has been rebuilt. The body is very solid and looks really nice for a daily driver. The rear fenders have been widened to cover the rear dually tires, and relocated the fuel tank to the rear with a custom fuel filler on the rear fender. All wiring and lights are new and 12 volts, the fog lights are 1950's vintage and work great. New Glass and rebuilt window and doors make for a nice and quieter feel inside, the seat is stock but with added springs and recovered very nicely. The gauges are customized from the van to fit in the stock pick up bezels. The custom bed has white oak in it and looks excellent, it has been finished with marine sealer and in high gloss. The drive train and frame is a stock 1980's chevy van (G-30). It was a dually originally, and has not been modified or changed at all. The motor is a 350 ci Mr. Goodwrench crate engine, with a mild cam and 9.5 -1 compression, it has hei distributor and all new parts that bolt to it. The radiator has been rebuilt using a double core new style core and cools verywell. It is running a THM 400 automatic transmission, that is solid and works great. The wheel bearings and seals are all new along with the master cylinder and brakes. Wheels and tires are less then 6 months old and in perfect condition. This is a blast to drive, and it gets a lot of compliments! Over $35000 invested, must sell for medical reasons. Best offer considered.. Thanks for looking. Call if you have questions.
