This car is an excellent driver, and has had the same owner since 1990. The car received a full restoration in 1992, has been driven less than 1000 miles since,... and runs and drives as well as it looks. It has been well maintained and cherished and remains in excellent driver quality condition. The Madeira Maroon (correct original color) paint is excellent with great luster and shine, with an almost mirror-like finish. The white RS stripes are correct and look great, all chrome trim is excellent and was clearly replaced at some point. The white interior is excellent; the seats having recovered and the carpets replaced at the time of restoration. The 327 Cid engine (not original to the car, but of the proper vintage) was rebuilt; it runs well with good power and torque. The engine was recently tuned, is well sorted and runs and drives very well. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly in all gears, and the drum brakes are fresh and effective. The car is fitted with 15 inch rally wheels, and a console gauge package. The exterior trim is in excellent condition, as is the front, rear and side glass. All bushings are fresh, as are the leaf springs, shocks and tires. The floor pans are in excellent condition, with no visible rust. The engine breathes through headers and a Holley Carburettor. Ignition is handled by an MSD distributor. All badging, head and taillight assemblies are in excellent condition. The white convertible top was recently replaced, and the electric top mechanism works as it should. The trunk is in wonderful condition, the floors solid and well detailed.
