Car description

For Sale: make a bid and this Custom One Off 1973 Corvette Stingray Supercharged 427 Big Block can be yours!! I have a ton of time and nearly $40k in this build but I have some other projects in mind so my loss is your gain.
Imagine yourself driving to a car show in this head-turning/ car show winning/ gas wasting/ screaming corvette...I promise you will stop everyone in their tracks!
CONDITION: PLEASE READ....This car is a "one off" custom award winning c3 corvette. It placed 2nd at the 2017 Houston Autorama in the "Mild Sport Custom" class and 2nd at the 2017, Corvette Expo in Galveston, TX (Custom C3 class) and has won first place at several local car shows.
This car recently judged 84 out of a 100 by a NCRS Judge at 2018 Chevy Corvette Expo in Galveston. ( which is outstanding because of extremely strict judging standards of NCRS,see photo of judging sheet, this car is easilywithin reach of a 90-99, depending on how much more time and money you want to spend, but right now it will blow the average person away when they see it...If you want a car condition of 99.5. see photos of the blue professionally built $250,000 1973 with an LS motor conversion that wins all the shows with a 99.5, (my yellow car always finished second to this blue car...but the blue car is never driven, and stored just for shows). This way you know exactly what you are getting (from a professional independentNCRS judge) in this yellow car, vs. if you want one in the condition of the blue car be prepared to pay $150,000-$500,000,and you will never drive it. The paint job or motor and trans on that blue car each cost more than I am asking for this whole yellow car).
Production Facts: In 1973 (one year only C3 body style of rubber front/rear metal rear bumper) There were 30,464 Corvettes made, 25,521 were T-Top coupes, but only 4,424 were made with the 454 Big Block. and only a certain number were T-Tops, then cut that down to the yellow color with the auto-transmission with factory A/C and cassette player and you have a pretty rare car. However, the 454 was replaced with the super rare and valuable 427 Turbo Jet featured only in a few cars, add a blower and the other engine and body mods and this car is a one off (one of a kind)!
This car is VIN coded for a factory yellow paint, and has recently been painted yellow with a pearl metal flake added in. It look amazing under the lights of an indoor car show or on a bright sunny day. It also has shaved body emblems, fender flares. Very clean car.
Engine: *THIS IS NOT A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR* This car came from factory with a big block 454, This car has a high performance supercharged/blower 427 big block out of a 1969 Corvette, rebuilt 5000 miles ago, It is estimated to make between 550-600hp, car has never been street raced or tracked. Just driven to car shows. It has cast iron ported and polished heads, a freshly rebuilt B&M supercharger (makes 5-6 lbs of boost and adds about 150-175hp similar to a Weiand 177 kit), Demon 850CFM carb, Lunati Blower Cam, 1" â…ž headers with straight pipe 3" exhaust (no mufflers) with polished stainless steel tips. It is loud from behind, but inside the car it sounds "just right" Brand new water pump, aluminum radiator with electric variable speed fans, new power steering pump, new power steering cylinder. Custom polished aluminum "427 Turbo Jet" valve covers.
MILEAGE: NOT SURE OF ACTUAL MILEAGE BUT ODOMETER SHOWS 19,XXX (I assume it has rolled over at least once since 1973 but have no way of knowing for sure).
Drivetrain: It has a new TCI 3 speed automatic turbo 400 with a 3500rpm stall converter and a strong shift kit from Summit Racing. It has a posi-trac rear end (think it has 3:70 gears and tops out at about 110mph at 5000 RPM). It will throw you back in your seat and smoke the tires but will hook up and go if you try.
Brakes: Freshly rebuilt 4 wheel disc brakes with new master cylinder.
Runs and drives great. Great for short cruises, local car shows.
Interior: Brand new $4000 custom interior (Advanced Auto Upholstry...seats, carpet throughout w/ dynamat) All gauges and radio work (needs new speakers). Custom steering wheel, brand new polished aluminum kick plates, original dash and door panels.
Paint/body: Custom 3" rear fender flares, 2" flares in the front. Body has been shaved to delete all the emblems (although I have all the correct eblems brand new in a box if you want to put them on). It has been repainted in January of 2018 with a pearl yellow with shredded chrome metal flake in the paint. Looks amazing in the sunlight. Brand new polished aluminum side skirt panels
Wheels and tires: Brand new BF Goodrich Radial T&A's with less than 500 miles on them (no burn outs) Rear size is 295/50/15 (about 14" wide) Front size is 205/60/15 (about 6" wide) Brand new Torque Thrust 2 polished aluminum rims. I have some nice polished aluminum centerline rims same size to fit the car I will throw in.
Other Mods: Electric Pop-Up Headlight Conversion (replaces old vacuum actuated system), new custom corvette steering wheel, painted removable cover for windshield wipers. Car does not have A/C (still set up for factory AC just no compressor and lines, you could add Vintage Air if you want).
