1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Project. Originally Goodwood Green exterior with white vinyl interior, currently painted the wrong color (red). This car is a non running project which needs a total restoration.
The good: The car is almost complete and includes its original L79 327/350 horsepower engine. It has two tops (hardtop & soft top), power steering, power brakes. The body lines are very nice and the body looks like nice. Trim trag shows goodwood green with white vinyl interior. I did not check if the transmission or rear are original, but based on how complete the rest of the car is I would suspect they are.
The not-so-good: I believe this car was frame on restored in the 90s. Unfortunately, the owner left it outside ever since. As a result, the car has surface rust and the convertible top fabric got brittle from the sun (it cracked but the frame is ok). The engine does not turn, I haven't tried soaking it to free it up as the next owner will need to fully restore the car. The frame has lots of surface rust and there is pitting. The frame kick up will need repair on the passenger side (pictured). The driver side kick up looks ok.
Overall, its a complete car and a good starting point if you'd like to restore a 67 convertible.
eBay only allows 24 pictures so I included as much as I could. If you'd like to see more pictures please email me your contact info (phone # preferred & email) and I can send you the rest of the pictures. Local inspection is welcome. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
