This car has the trim tag and VIN TAG AND THEY read as follows: VIN# = 21847S119389 2= 1962 18= IMPALA 8 CYLINDER 47= 2 DOOR SPORT COUPE S = BUILT IN ST. LOUIS. MO. 119389 = THE NUMBER THE CAR WAS IN THE PRODUCTION LINE TRIM TAG STYLE 62-1847 = 1962 CHEVROLET IMPALA SUPER SPORT BODY SL 4972 = IMPALA ASSEMBLED IN ST. LOUIS MO. TRIM 875 = RED VINYL INTERIOR PAINT 900 = TUXEDO BLACK ACRYLIC PAINT ACC. 1B 12H = ??? Again. the is a FACTORY IMPALA SUPER SPORT with a 327 V8 (needs to be rebuilt). Powerglide Automatic Transmission (condition unknown) center console shifted. bucket seats in good condition. interior as a whole isn't bad. SOME of the typical rust around the rockers and quarters. rust spot on side of roof (pictured) solid floors except for under drivers side rear seat. solid trunk pan. has all parts to complete the car. double hump heads. wire wheels. Overall the car is in really good shape and just needs to be put back together. I bought the car just like you see it and was going to restore it but I am moving and can't take the car with me. this TRUE SUPER SPORT is a TRUE KEEPER. The car was last registered in Texas in 2000 but the last owner lost the title after her husband died but she gave me the 2000 registration papers with all his information on it so a bonded title could easily be obtained. The car has no title ( had to say it was clear per ebay requirements and the mileage is unknown) but it will be sold with registration documentation and a bill of sale. The car is located at a storage facility in San Antonio Tx. and the car will be sold as-is and where-is. A $250. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. the balance is due within 7 days of the end of the auction and the car must be removed from the storage facility within 10 days of the end of the auction. there will be no haggling and no refunds.
