This is a great barn find. It was used by a gentleman and his wife in Texas to pull their camper. and therefore has only 53. 00 original miles. It sat for a number of years and was purchased by a man who was going to redo it with his son. They did the wheels and exhaust and ran out of steam. I bought it from them. running. but in need of TLC. I did the interior and paint as close to original as possible. Did a full tune up (plugs wires. fluids. belts and hoses. oil. filters. tc. etc). changed the fluids. new tires. fixed the AC. did a color matched spray-in bedliner. So it is a 1973 Chevy C20 long bed (three quarter ton. which is the same size as the half ton. but with a beefier suspension) with a 454. 55K orig miles. So this was not a work truck and was not beaten and has no rust being a Texas truck. I restored to orig as possible. Have not touched engine. no smoke. The new interior looks great and very period. the AC works. new paint (original color scheme) is good but not a show quality. just really good. color matched spray in bed liner. As I said. the AM radio doesn't work. O/W great truck. strong engine. The quadrajet carburetor is the original and could use a proper carb guy's attention. it's got the slightest hesitation off the line but then runs normally and strong. The C20's were upgraded. tow equipped. pickups with beefier suspensions. The 454 engine is super and the auto transmission shifts strong and does not slip. The truck as 53. xx miles on it and feels very solid (no squeeks or rattles). This package was the Cheyenne (top of the line) trim package. They are harder to find than the C10s because there were fewer made and they were usually work trucks and did not survive. The C10s are easy to find. More pics on request. Have $13. 00 in the redo. (redid the AC. interior. paint. wheels and tires. etc. )Will assist with shipping and vehicle prep. but shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Will store the vehicle for 7 days at no cost. Payment due in 7 days. Deposit of $500 in 24 hours. Thanks for looking. Please email with any questions.
