You are bidding at NO RESERVE on a gorgeous 1969 Corvette Convertible 4-Speed, this beauty was restored about 10 years ago and is still in excellent shape. It was garage kept and only driven to shows or for pleasure. The paint and body are in excellent shape and I would say a solid 8.5 or 9 out of 10. It doesn't have any waves, no major flaws, excellent shine and no orange peel, no prior bodywork or replacement panels that I can tell. It is definitely a lot nicer than most you will see with only minor touch up spots from normal driving such as a small rockchip, etc. The chrome and trim were all replaced at the time of the restoration and are still in excellent shape as well with only minimal wear. All of the lights and wipers were completely gone through with all new lines and canisters and they work flawlessly.
The interior is in great shape and was completely redone at the time of restoration, the seats are very nice no cracks or noticeable wear. They are very comfortable as you are shifting gears in this Stingray. All of the gauges work with the exception of the clock and the radio recently stopped working I believe it is a ground. The carpet is in great shape as are the door panels and remaining interior trim. The dash is excellent with no cracks. Vintage A/C was just installed on the factory controls and it blows Ice-Cold even in Florida heat, I have all the Vintage A/C manuals and a shop manual included with the car as well. The top was replaced as well 8 years ago and still looks like new with only minor yellowing of the back window. The hardtop is painted to match and is in excellent shape as well and bolts right on the car as pictured.
The engine is a rebuilt 350 with comp cam, and 4 bolt mains. It runs extremely well and never has given me one problem. Runs very cool even in Florida heat with the A/C on.
The transmission is the original Muncie also rebuilt and it shifts extremely smooth, probably one of the best shifting Corvettes I have owned.
The rear and suspension were gone through not to long ago and it goes down the road excellent, very smooth, no weird noises.
The frame and birdcage are super solid one of the nicest you will find, no patches, just factory 1969 steel.
Car is nicely equipped with power steering all redone, Ice-Cold Vintage A/C as mentioned earlier, power windows, and tilt wheel which makes driving this Stingray a pleasure. The passenger side power window is a little slow at times but does work just fine.
The brakes are 4 wheel disc manual because of the cam but it stops excellent and doesn't pull at all.
The exhaust is hooker headers hooked to chambered exhaust and flow masters and it sounds amazing everyone turns as you pull into the shows.
The factory corvetterallys have like new tires installed as well so you are ready to take it to the shows.
Overall I would say the car is a nice 8.5 or 9 out of 10. It is turn key ready to enjoy, and with both tops and Ice-Cold A/C as you are shifting through the 4-Speed you will surely have a nice smile on your face. Take a look at the pictures as the car speaks for itself you will be hard pressed to find one nicer.Do not let this one slip past your collection you will regret it.
