Car description |

I am listing this car for my father. I will do my best to answer any questions, but please be patient. Car is located in northwest Florida. If you are a serious buyer, I can arrange an inspection.
You are bidding on a 1960 Chevrolet Impala. It is equipped with the 348 engine, which I believe is original to the car. It has the tri-power induction, higher performance heads, solid lifter cam and dual exhaust. The transmission is the T-10 four speed.
It starts, runs and drives quite well. The engine sounds nice, transmission shifts as it should and clutch is good. The brakes work well. It has been upgraded with power brakes and power steering. The wheels and tires are like new. The doors open and close nicely - no sagging.
The car spent many years in California, so the body is very solid - see pics. The mileage of 61, 655 is believed to be original. We have the registrations for the car from 1960 to 1983. It has been well cared for. Original rear wheel skirts are included.
An aftermarket CD player had been added under the dash with a pair of 6x9 speakers in the rear package tray.
The paint looks good for a car of this age, but does have a few small touch-ups here and there from chips in the paint. Look at the pics. I will try to upload a video of the car running as well in the next couple of days.
Overall, this is a very good car - can be enjoyed as it is. Hate to see it go, but priorities have shifted.
A deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment due within 7 days of auction close, unless other arrangements are made ahead of time. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping of the vehicle.
