1968 Life Time Arizona Camaro Convertible I am the 4th owner and I have had it for 12 years. Originally Gifted to the first owner for hitting a hole in one in 1968. It has lived in Arizona all of its life. I purchased the car with about 50000 original miles. It now has 102. 00 documented miles with a pile of receipts going back to 1968. I have the original order form and a picture from when it was new. This is a relatively low optioned car with factory deluxe interior. 210 horse v8. decorative chrome and nose stripe. The original color was Corvette Bronze. It was originally delivered with dash mounted dealer installed air. I have the under dash unit if the buyer would like it. My Camaro is a rust free car. Please look closely at the chassis shots. The original primer under the car is clean and shows well. The original stampings are visible in the wheel wells. Since I purchased the car I have done many updates for drivability. It is still the original numbers matching 327. 210 horsepower motor. I added a 700R4 4 speed automatic to replace the Powerglide. Both the motor and transmission perform excellent and have been maintained intensely. I have installed a factory style 4 barrel Quadra jet to replace the original 2 barrel. Electronic ignition has also been added for dependability. I rebuild the rear end with 3:73 gears in 2011. I installed a very stock appearing 2 “ 1/2 inch factory style exhaust with a correct transverse muffler. The AC is a modern cold. working AC. The car came with power steering and power brakes. I changed the power drums to power front disk brakes in 2002. The brakes work great. Factory console gauges as well as dash clusters were added by me along the way. The top is manual. It is two years old and in excellent shape The top is easy to raise and lower. I recently lowered the suspension with new 17 inch REV 107 wheels (made to look like the original rallies but aluminum). New Michelin Pilot tires. Close ratio steering box. large front sway bar. and KYB shocks. The car still rides nice. but handles great. No jarring like most lowered cars. The interior is the original deluxe version of the Camaro interior and it shows cracking on the door panels and slight discoloration on the seats. Rare interior color. Only one of 600 with bright white interior in 68. Most were pearl white. Paint was done somewhere in the early 90's. and is showing signs of wear. but shines great. I would say it is a very nice 5 footer. All of the lights. and accessories work perfect. I have been driving this car regularly for 12 years. It is very dependable. I get in it and it starts right up. I have driven it when it was 35 degrees and raining as well as when it was 118 and hot as blazes. Pictures here. I could go on forever about my car.
