1962 Chevrolet Armbruster Stageway Limousine

Wepurchased thisStageway in 2014 to use around our resort and for guest shuttling around Laguna Beach, CA. It was used very lightly over the past 4 years but has been well maintained by our onsite mechanic. The previous owner restored a lot of the vehicle from 2004-2006: they spent the better part of two years taking it apart and putting it back together: 350 engine, turbo automatic transmission, glass packs, stereo system, all new suspension, brakes, steering, stereo system.

The history: this vehicle was stretched by Armbruster-Stageway in the early 60's. It spent most of its life we think taking people around the valley of Jackson Hole, up into the park and delivering people to Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City in the 60's, 70's, and early 80's. A local group used it for parades and then in the early 90's, it was purchased and sat in the middle of town next to an old quonset hut for close to 10 years. Was restored by a new owner from 2004 - 2006 -They rented the vehicle to a 5 star hotel in Jackson Hole Wyoming where they kept it in a garage, used it for weddings and jaunts up to Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone and running people around the valley. We purchased from them.

The Stageway is a rare beast perfect for large families, developers, dude ranches, hotels and the hospitality industry. The vehicle looks new from the inside, has normal wear and tear on the paint from the exterior. We have felt like we have been great stewards of this vehicle and would like to pass it on to another owner who will love it as we have.
