Their first major redesign after WWII, the new GM Advanced Design trucks were an instant hit with a public who were desperate for new automobiles. Hitting the market in 1947, the trucks were built with minimal changes until 1955. Sold in 3100, 3600, and 3800, these ½, ¾, and 1 ton trucks were durable and available in multitudes of configurations. A range of inline 6 cylinder engines were available as well. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this gorgeous... 1950 3600 for your consideration. This truck is absolutely beautiful, courtesy of a restoration. The body of the truck is finished in a nice dark green hue, with contrasting black on the fenders and running boards. The paint quality is phenomenal and shines were nicely on the perfectly straight body. The chrome trim and chrome bumpers are equally nice and shine well. 15in factory steel wheels and beauty dishes have been nicely restored and are fitted with modern tires. The bed of the truck is beautifully finished and features real wood planks as the floor. The interior is exceptionally nice and features a perfect grey bench seat and excellent grey door cards. The seats have nice padding and are rip and stain free. The black dashboard is very nice and appears to have all of the original features. A 235cid inline 6 cylinder starts up easily and the truck drives down the road very well. A 3 speed transmission is pretty easy to use. Overall this truck is in excellent condition inside and outside. The restoration was very thorough and it appear that everything has been addressed professional. You will not be disappointed with this exceptional truck!
