I have for sale my 1992 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4, extended cab, short box, auto with 5.7L V8/ 4L80E transmission. I am selling it because it is time to move on to something else. I really love this pickup and it is in great condition for how old it is. The interior is in near perfect condition with NO rips in the seats. There are only a few minor pieces on the dash that are scratched. There is NO major rust on it anywhere. Just some minor surface rust on the top of the cab where the paint has started to peel off and the usual minor scrapes and dings along the side. I have never pulled anything extremely heavy with the pickup. All of the fluids have been changed recently and the engine oil is synthetic. I also recently replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor and distributor module. The brake booster and right fron axle and seal have also recently been replaced. I also pulled the front differential apart to replace the inner axle seal. There are many upgrades on the pickup such as:
-Lund windshield visor with lights
-Lund running boards
-aftermarket wheels and off-road tires (75% tread left)
-electric 4x4 actuator upgrade
-class 2 hitch and 4 wire trailer harness
-bug deflector
-tool box
-bed liner
-engine block heater-bed tool box
The only issues that it currently has are that the a/c compressor is not currently hooked up and one of the engine oil cooler lines has a very slight leak. I priced the oil line at local automotive stores around $15-20. I have not priced a new compressor since I never needed it. I just rolled down thewindows. Otherwise this pickup is in terrific working condition. I have taken it on a few road trips with zero issues. It is also my daily driver so the miles will go up daily. The chassis has just over 200k on it but the engine and transmission have just over 100k on them.I do have the paperwork for the engine and transmission installation as well. This pickup books for around $9,000 in perfect condition, $6,500 in moderate condition and $2,500 in terrible condition. Those are priced with the chassis mileage. It definitely fits in the middle and no where near the bottom.
I also have the pickup listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction at any time in the event that I do sell it to someone locally.
