Took a few trips in it @ 400 miles round. Ran out great with no problems. Mileage may change again, I am driving it a little until it sells.
I also noticed that Driver Side window sweeps rubber is cracking @ 38.00 for full set. Cheap Fix. Just FYI
I have a One Owner 68k Original Mile Olive Green with Saddle Interior 1969 Chevrolet C10 Custom. 307 2BBl with 3 Speed (on Tree) PB, Heat, Radio Delete Truck. This truck was mainly used by Mr Womack to Fish and Camp near Chattanooga. Was driven very little each day. He lived Very Close to where he worked. This Truck has been Parked since about 1982 from what we can gather. Very Little Rust. Less that 10 small spots.(size of pencil head) Have been repaired. Also a few touch ups and such at same time. Truck Runs and Drives Really Nice for a Base Truck. Now It Drives Better. Truck is Extremely Straight, Not A Beater!

Its is a Real Survivor Barn Find that has been Freshened Up and Updated for Better Driveability. Very Very Original with No Rust Through and only very Minimal Surface Rust Anywhere.(All that I could see has been treated with Rust Treatment)

New Sport Suspension Springs Shocks Sways Steering Stabilizer Adj Trac Bar Bolts Boots Bushings Etc / Truck Actually Handles (Feels more like a car in the corners) 3.5 Drop in Front / 4 Drop in Rear. For the Right Look we had to get 4 inch drop front springs and then install a 1 inch isolator to get the right rake. No One makes a 3.5 Spring. Very Subtle...Almost looks Stock. Most All Suspension Mods are CPP / Western Chassis / Energy Suspension parts.(This is where the money was spent on the suspension)
New Power Brakes Rubber Lines Wheel Cylinders Etc
Original Wheels Blasted Painted New- Vintage Style Tires - Deluxe Wheel Covers New Matching Spare
New Heater Ducts Dash Pad Carpet CST Seat Cover CST Pedals Sound Deadening & Extra Jute for Sound, Dynama, CST Style Dash with Gauges &Tach. It has White Face Gauges that I usually dislike but I got it with the Numbers in the Same Green as the Truck is Painted. Looks Really Nice and Much Brighter at night. (Have Original Dash Goes with, Can See Actual Mileage at Start of Build., Under Dash Courtesy Lights
Real OEM Comfort Grip Saddle Wheel (Rare @400.00+ If you can find one ) Horn button All Steering Wiring New Column Rebuild Etc, Doors & Dash Not Beat Cut or Molested! Original Paint! Have a Small Piece of Drivers Door Seal that was torn when removing seat and original floormat. It was Lost. @ a 18-22 inch piece I was going to splice a new piece in but decided to give the New Door Seal to New Owner and let them make the Decision to Fix or Replace. Hated to mess with because doors are adjusted well and close quite nicely! All Weatherstrip, seals Etc are All Original. So is Glass, No Cracks. Has a little hazing around the edges of Front Glass but Nothing Terrible.
New Gas Tank Locking Cap Has Original Cardboard Tank Cover Correct Jack & Access
New SS Mirrors Wipers CST Markers Rear Harness
New Front Drivers Side Cab Mount Replaced, Small Rust Hole. (Professionally Done)
Rockers were Replaced at some time 30+ years ago. Never Painted, Just Primed. Fresh Single Stage Color matching #504 paint just sprayed on them. See the Pics it looks Great. (Professionally Done)
New Black Bottom / Chassis Paint - Poly Cab & Frame Mounts
Bottom of Hood Sprayed Satin Black. Nothing was wrong but it just Looks Better! (Professionally Done)
Changed White Bumpers to OEM Chrome Bumpers(not Repop Not Rusted out, backs were painted for a clean look) have Patina to match truck
New Hei Distributor(Have Original) Wires Plugs Belt Thermostat Battery and Early Tornado Dual Snorkel(200-400) (Have Original) Air Cleaner New Decals in Engine Compartment
75% of Exhaust is Original New NOS Period Correct Muffler Installed and New tail pipe Have All Original Pipe Goes with it
New NOS Back up light switch installed
New Top Radiator Hose and Rad Cap and Overflow Jug with New Accessory Rad Cover- Installed
Carb Rebuilt and Cleaned New Studs in Manifold
Bed has a few Dings, Nothing Major! Mainly a Fishing / Camping Ride. Actually had an old aluminum shell on it. That is why top of bed paint is pulled off. That Old Camper Shell Tape.
Anything that was pulled off or adjusted, if the bolts were starting to get rusty in the threads I replaced them with New Grade 8 anywhere I could.
Has All of the 1969 Safety Features...Lap Belts!
Also has Armstrong Steering!
FYI Seat Cover Carpet and Dash Pad & Side Markers/Signals are Repop, All other is Original or NOS, Including Headlights Taillights dome light Backup lights and bulbs!

Has a MO 1969 Black Plate Truck Only Tag on the front that goes with truck. In some states these Old Plates can be registered and used. Either way it Looks Cool and I bought it for this truck. I also wanted to note that the truck Is Not Wet in the photos. I know that's an old trick to make paint look better but this is the actual sheen on paint. Looks better when the suns out...we just have not had any lately.
Everything that has been changed on truck can easily be converted back if you want all original or to restore. Nothing has been Cut or Modified! Have All Parts! You get original air cleaner, springs, dist, trac bar etc that way it could be put back if desired. It is Very Road Worthy. Everything works Wipers-Washer-Cig Lighter-Courtesy Lights-Heater-Defroster Etc. All New Owner has to do is Pump Gas! Have All the Original Keys. 4 Total.
This Truck is a Original Paint Low Mileage Survivor that I have built to be driven every day. Paint has been Sanded and Buffed. Scratches have been treated with Rust Restore and touched up depending on how they looked. The Truck Feels and Drives way better than these trucks ever did new. Under the Hood and Interior are All Original Paint!(Minus just a few touch ups)
