- 1969 Camaro Z28
Correct DZ302 Engine
original to car
original 3927186 double-hump heads
original intake manifold, carburetor
currently has a Pertronix distributor in car, I also have original
engine runs very strong, high revving, just like a 69 Z should
M22 Transmission – not original
12 bolt 4.10 posi rear – original to car
Hooker Competition Headers with aluminized coating, Flowmaster exhaust (crossflow setup that fits under car very tight – no hanging mufflers)
Comes with 2 sets of tires/wheels – BFG T/As for driving, Goodyear Wide Tread GTs for show
Heavily documented with body broadcast sheet, Protect-O-Plate and copies of the original manufacturers statement of origin, original title, bill of sale, sales contract, and owner history from 1969
Comes with a copy of Muscle Car Classics magazine where the car was featured showing how the trunk and under hood of a real Z28 should look
Comes with a photo album showing restoration
Very rare color combination of Dover White and Red Interior
Rosewood steering wheel
This is a rust-free Camaro – older restoration but looks/shows very well. The odometer shows 76K miles and I see no evidence of flipping over, but I bought the car as mileage-exempt and I will sell as mileage exempt. Working factory AM/FM radio. Clocks works most of the time.
I purchased the car from Hendrick Performance, and I have owned car for 3 years now. I have replaced all the rubber suspension parts (control arm bushings, body mounts, spring eyes, etc.) and have replaced the ball joints, tie rods, shocks (all wear items). The car runs and drives like a new 69 Camaro and tracks straight as an arrow.
The only reason I’m selling is that I’m ready to move on to the next project.
