Car description |
---|
1957 Chevrolet Belair two door hardtop. I don't know too much about this car. I bought it to restore but my health says no. The engine I am told is a large gernal 327, transmission is a Muncie four speed and stock rear end. The car has been sitting several years without being run and needs a total restore. The worse is the trunk floor. It had shag carpet and rusted the floor. Rear floor boards look solid other than surface rust. Front floors need repairs. Rust in outer sheet metal needs easy repairs (small hole in bottom of right front fender, and in front of rear fender wells. White paint on top is original, bottom was repainted looks like one time. The color is the original color. I have a original front seat that goes with it but is in rough shape. I was told the front brakes are new. The tires and wheels in the pictures do not go with the car. It will come with the stock steel wheels on it. I have the rear window trim and some new and extra parts. The glass is all in it but some needs replaced. There are some missing items that are not hard to find (radio, clock, some heater parts, hood rockets, some outside trim). Frame is solid. Car has all the running gear but is not running. It rolls and steers for easy loading. Feel free to email me with any questions or pictures of certain areas. I have title in hand.

Engine has a HB code and has camel bump heads. Grill bar is not broke and in nice shape with new parking lamp lenses. All stainless including fin inserts are straight and nice. There is no rust in drip rails or top.
