Up for auction is this very rare 1969 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST!!!!!
Here is your chance to own a first generation K5 Blazer!! Not just any K5 either!! This is a 1969 the first year for the K5 Blazer. This one is also a CST model. Still wears its factory colors both exterior and interior. Looks to have only one re-paint in it's lifetime. This rig is far from your average Blazer. To start with the factory 1/2 ton differentials were ditched and replaced with a Dana 60 in the front and a Dana 70 in the rear. Both are mounted to a 10inch spring lif, no body lift! The factory small bloc, transmission and transfer case were also replaced with a fresh 396BBC motor with a est 500hp!!!TH400 transmission and a NP208 transfer case. The motor has very low miles on it and has been bored .30 over and has forged flat top pistons,steel crank,balanced,049 oval port heads with 2.19 valaves,Comp hyd camshaft,roller rockers,Edelbrock performer intake,Demon Carb,HEi distributor w/curve kit,dual roller timing chain and more!! The transmission is a built TH400 with shift kit and 2800 stall converter. The transfer case is all rebuilt, custom balanced rear drive line,needs front built still.The differentials have 4.10 gears. Custom rear fuel tank with sump. Barry grant fuel system,Hooker headers with brand new aluminized 2 1/2inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. This rig is also sitting on brand new 20x12 Moto Metal wheels with brand new 38x15.5x20 Nitto trail grapplers. Power disc brakes and power steering. Has original blue saddle scroll seats front and back(could use new covers sooner or later,comes with factory rear CST saddle scroll panels,factory tach,am/fm radio. Paint is older but shines up nice for a driver. Has some minor imperfections here and there but overall looks great!! This K5 is ready for some one to finish it up and make it there own. This rig runs great!! You got to hear this thing in person!! With the recent increase in popularity of the first generation K5 blazers prices have sky rocketed!! If you want to stand apart from the crowd you better check Big Blue out!! This rig draws a crowd and thumbs up were ever it goes!!
