Car description |

For sale is a beautiful and powerful 1967 El Camino. The car is a 4 year old frame on restoration with 3000 miles on it. The engine is a built 468 with a built TH 350 and a 3:55 ratio posi rear and a very nice interior. It has new wiring harnesses in the interio, engine compartment and front lights. Always runs cool with a Griffin aluminum radiator. There is zero rust in this car. Add a blower and have an easy 800hp
Specifics:
Engine: it starts with a 1970 4 bolt main bloc, forged crank and rods. This engine was built to be a blower motor and has main and head studs.
Engine balance, full roller motor
Forged TRW aluminum pistons, pump friendly 9 to1 compression
The crank was polished and oil holes are chamfered
Melling high volume and high pressure oil pump.
.612 lift and 243 duration @050 hydralic roller cam, degreed in with a locking plate and thrust washer Cloyes double roller timing chain.
Square port Pro Comp aluminum heads with moly push rods springs and retainers, roller rockers and lifters, aluminum fabricated valve covers.

Hooker Stainless steel headers and 3" mandrel bent aluminized exhaust with electric cutouts and chrome tips, Summit SFI-18 approved balancer MSD starter
Transmission:
The trans is a Hughes full race TH 350 with a B&M SFI-18 approved flexplate and a Summit Nitrous torque converter with a 3100 stall speed.
Interior :
custom interior with custom seats and gauges. I have completely rebuilt and recovered 68 seats that will go with the car. The speedometer doesn't work . It has an adapter for a 700r4 trans which was in the car when I bought it. Needs an adapter for a TH 350, never bothered me. the gas gauge in the dash doesn't work as the sender is for a fuel cell and won't fit the stock tank. I put a gas gauge in the center consol, see pics. New window crank, door handles, wing window hardwar, rear view mirror and mount and sun visor hardware.
AM-FM CD player
Exterior:
Very nice red paint shiney but not perfect as the car is driven. New hood hinges and excellent glass. Absolutely no rust.
Mostly new emblems
New bumpers (I have the originals if wante, not rusty just not real shiney)
The bed is not perfec, I wanted to put a wood bed in but I couldn't find someone to do it. I have the SS wood dividers if you want them.
Suspension:
completely rebuilt front suspension, Bilstein shocks, Edelbrock lower control arms in rea, new fast ratio steering box.
Differential:
Rear end is a 1970 Olds 10 bolt which has a wider ring and pinion gears and bolt in axles, new 3:55 ring and pinion, posi unit and seals bearings and gaskets. Also a Summit cast aluminum cover with bearing supports.
Brakes:
New front disc brakes (rotors. pads and calipers, new master cylinder and chrome booster, rear brakes are drum and work fine.
Has 8" ralley wheels with 67 center caps and beauty rims, front tires are BFG T/A's and rears are 275x60x15 Nitto Extreme Drag radials
I may have forgotten a couple of thing, ANY questions call Bob (704)207-6905 or email.
Overall this is an extremely nice example of an American hotrod
