Dallas Motorsports is very proud to offer this stunning 69 Camaro Vintage Trans Am Racer with its original SCCA history, including being the 1976 Central Division A-Sedan Champion, as built and campaigned by Dick Fischer. Originally built and raced out of Wisconsin, the Camaro was brought to Texas after being sold following its Championship win. Campaigned through the early 80's in the Texas Race of Champions Series after which it was retired for years. The racer has now been painstakingly and correctly restored to 1970 Trans Am specs which was the pinnacle season of the series. This car also comes with HISTORIC TRANS AM REGISTRY CERTIFICATE OF MEMBERSHIP due to its original A-Sedan history. This car currently consists of : Minilite Wheels with a brand new complete spare set, Complete extra ( fresh ) 12 bolt axle assembly with 4;56 gears, M22 Rockcrusher transmission built by Autogear with upgrades, New M22 gear set, 10,000 RPM clutch, Billet steel flywheel, Brink Racecraft 4130 Chromolly cage, JL8 syle brakes with L88 dual pin pads and J56 insulated pucks with Penske style front reinforcement brackets, Coleman driveshaft, Stahl (Penske) headers, GM 4 bolt block, Z/28 steel crank, CNC ported GM Straight plug 492 heads, Titanium valves, Edelbrock SY-1 SmokeRam intake to only name a few items. This car also comes with the Original SCCA Log Book as well as the CVAR Log Book. Also invitations to some of the most prestigious Vintage Events in the country.
