Car description

The 1990 Chevrolet C1500 454 was built in the grand tradition of muscle cars were a big engine was mated to a lightweight setup. But while the factory just scratched the surface of what was possible, this one has been recently upgraded to be truly as mean as it looks. So don't let the affordable price fool you, this is a premium 360+hp beast.
Slick black is the best way to have such an aggressive pickup, and the factory-correct color has a dark mirror shine. This one retains all the right factory pieces like well-preserved lower valence, menacing blacked-out grille, and bold red bow tie emblems placed throughout pickup. Plus, it has the right subtle upgrades like the liner paint in the bed, and the cowl induction-style hood that brings up memories of the best muscle cars of the '60s and '70s. You'll even love the small details like the bright exhaust tips and polished rear end cover that add a little extra flair introduced by the factory 15-inch polished wheels.
It isn't a true first-year SS truck without the Garnet Red interior and the premium cloth bucket seats. It's quite flashy and still looks good today, especially when viewing it in combination with the vivid black exterior paint. A center console armrest provides extra storage and a set of cup holders, which is a nice feature that doesn't yet come in many classic collectables. This SS is loaded with factory air conditioning, power windows, power locks, tilt steering column, cruise control, sliding rear window, and the original dual panel AM/FM/cassette stereo. But, as much as you might think of this as a luxury machine, the added large tach on the dash reminds you of its true power.
We already hinted at the extra thunder under the hood, and now it's time for all the details. We have build receipts to show that $9,600 was spent less than 100 miles ago to install a monster V8. While the valve covers still say 454, this is an external balanced two-bolt main block enlarged to 496 cubic-inches. The V8 was built by Jim Bowen Motorsports, and they fortified and enhanced it with a Scat crank, Procomp aluminum cylinder heads, ARP head bolts, Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft, Erson rocker arms, Erson push rods, and topped with a large four-barrel carburetor. The full package has been dynoed at 369 horsepower and 451 lb-ft of torque (oh yeah, it's still got truck pulling power, too!) There's even a new TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a new 10-bold rear end to handle all this extra power. This one is also quite capable on the road thanks to a sports car-like ratio on the power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and new BF Goodrich T/As.
Everything is clean on this truck right down to the undercarriage, and the sale even comes with the owner's manual. So this is one amazing high-horsepower value that can be yours if you act quick enough. Call now!
