Up for sale after all these years is my mother's baby. She was the original buyer in 1965. The car was purchased new from Whiteman Chevrolet in Glens Falls, NY. Over the years this car was used as a daily driver for her. She did not work outside the home so there are no commuter miles on it. The odometer reads 92,128 and I can attest that this is the actual mileage. This car has always been garaged and was driven sparingly in the winter months. When it was, it was immediately washed and dried....panel by panel. As I said, it was her baby. The car was rustproofed (Z-Bart) by the dealer before delivery and has aged very well. There are a few bubble spots in the fender areas and the door bottoms have some surface rust. There is no Swiss cheese anywhere on this car. The original white paint has survived very well and still buffs to a great shine, for enamel paint. All of the drivetrain is original, including carburetor and is all numbers matching to this car. It also still is equipped with the original power convertible top with boot, interior, glass, carpet, spare tire and jack, and even the floor mats. Original manual and other paperwork is included; It has the protect o plate with my mother's name on it.The only non original parts on this vehicle are the alternator and gas tank and the usual tune up items and tires. The tires btw are only the 3rd set and are belted non radials. The drivers seat needs attention( see pic)The car has recently only burned non ethanol fuel, 89 octane with booster and lead substitute added. It runs and drives very nice and handles the crazy traffic in Florida with ease. It gets looks and comments wherever we go and will be sorely missed. Questions and more pics are always answered and sent promptly. Thanks for your interest.
