Car description |
---|
I have this 1971 Chevy C10 for sale on my lot. This is a sweet old truck. We use it regularly, so it is titled and licensed in my name. I bought it a few years ago just because I liked the look. We use it as a shop runner.
This truck has a small block V8 in it, but I am not sure if its a 307 or a 305. I know its not original to the truck, but it runs very well and I did not really care. It has a 2 barrel carburetor. The truck was originally equipped with A/C, but as you see the compressor never got reinstalled on this engine. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic.
The tires are in excellent condition. This truck is also equipped with disc brakes.
This truck runs and drives really, really well. It goes straight on down the road, stops well and does everything its supposed to do.
The doors have rust in the corners. I made a deal with a guy locally to buy a clean used door shell for one side, and I will include it in the sale. The door trim panels were junk and we removed them. One window regulator is questionable. Heater needs to have a mouse nest cleaned out of it! LOL Floors are pretty good, but rockers may need a little attention. Bed has a few small holes over one wheel, I think on drivers side.
So, here you go. Drive it like it is, like we have been for 3 years, or do a full blown LS swap, or restore it back to original. Its the right color and has good options. Getting hard to find another like it anymore.
Sold AS IS / Where Is
I personally, would not drive it more than an hour or so, just because that the way I am. I would tell you to bring a trailer, or hire a shipper. We drive it all the time locally, but I would not go 500 miles in it. Again, just me. Its an old truck that's basically mostly original and stock.
I hate to see itgo, but we've had our time with it and I have too many other projects to really devote any time to restoring it.
Located in Jamestown, KY 42629, which is south central KY. I am 3 hours south of Cincinnati, 2.25 hours NE of Nashville and 2.25 hours NW of Knoxville. 2 hours south of Louisville.
Good luck bidding. It s a nice truck and someone will enjoy having it.

A few people asked me for pictures of the cab corners, so I just added one of each side.
Let me also add this truck is for sale locally and advertised in other places, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time before it meets reserve for a local sale. I highly suggest if you want it, get on it.
