1951 Chevrolet Business CoupeNO REAR SEAT FROM THE FACTORY
350 cubic inch Engine, Smooth Automatic TransmissionSHIFTS PERFECTLY
Power Steering, 4 Wheel Power Disc BrakesSTOPS GREAT
Cold Air Conditioning/Hot Heat
Offered for sale is an old school cruiser...but don't let the age fool you.
It has all of the modern goodies like power steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes, tubular control arms, ice cold vintage air conditioning and heat, tinted windows, quick-release steering wheel, transmission and power steering cooler...and you can drive all day on the highway. It stays at 190 degrees, holds great oil pressure, and needs nothing to be a daily driver. It has been modified regularly and kept up to date. It was built by an old dirt track racer (which is why it has the quick release steering wheel), so thought went into everything he did to make sure it would last. The lights and wipers work, the electric fan works, it has an aluminum radiator, and the wheels are new with excellent tires. The doors lock, it's not rusty but the paint is old. If there were any body/rust issues, it would've popped out long ago. As you can see, it still shiny and more than presentable. The roof paint (very metallic) is relatively new. The black paint has decades of love. You don't need to paint it, but if you did...it would be more awesome. The seats were recently recovered, and the red looks great with the black exterior, metallic roof, and hand painted red and white pin striping.
You could fly in and drive this home any distance. It cruises great and you can easily go with the flow of traffic. Cash preferred, trades possible, but if you're not local...it only complicates things. No hard feelings if I'm not interested in what you're offering to trade. If you aren't local to me, you'll need to figure out how to make the trade work. The car is listed to be sold, so a sale would be best...but I am leaving my options open. Text questions, or photos and information of your possible trade to 941-740-2277, or email me through eBay or northshorebill@aol.com
The car is located in Port Charlotte, Florida...about 90 miles south of Tampa on the west side of the state. I'm only a few miles off of I-75 and am within an hour or two of several airports. I can pick you up if you fly in. I reserve the right to end the auction early, and I can always add a Buy-It-Now if I need to. Serious bidders and buyers will know what they need to do. Please honor your bid and lets not waste your time or mine. This is a cool old car that deserves an owner that will continue to make it amazing.
