I am selling this older restoration 1955 Chevy Bel Air for a friend. I helped restore the car in the '80s. The car was a frame on restore that started from a very decent bodied car. We took out the six cyl and installed a fresh 327 cu in small block which has a aluminum intake and a Holley carburetor and headers. A new clutch was put in with a overhauled 4- speed transmission. The suspension and the brakes were completely gone thru which supports drum brakes all the way around. The body and paint was done by a local body shop and still shows very well. The interior was completely redone and has factory electric windows which all work perfectly. The car also has a factory electric seat that works well too! These factory electrics are very rare! All widows are in very good shape. All of the chrome including bumpers were rechromed by Denver Bumper in Denver Colo. Every thing on the car works as it should as I know that the owner didnt put 5000 miles on it after the restore-- it just sat in his garage. This car is still in very nice condition and would make a very good daily driver for somebody to enjoy! Please call me with any questions. 308-249-6447. Thanks for looking Hal P.S. This is a no reserve auction and will sell to the highest bidder! It is for sale locally also and Im sure the owner would take any decent offer. This is relisted due to non paying purchaser!
