Up for sale we have a 1972 Chevy Cheyenne. This truck has undergone a frame off restoration and sports multiple upgrades. The '72 model Cheyenne is easily one of the most sought after of C10 body styles. This one won't disappoint as it has a ton of eye appeal to go along with the drivetrain upgrades. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the C-10. When the frame off restoration was done they also added a 2" Steel Cowl Hood. As you walk around it you'll see that the fit of the bed to the cab is excellent. This truck sports a stunning color combo being done in the two-tone Burgundy and Gray Paint Scheme. The paint has been buffed and polished to a beautiful shine that's slick as a ribbon. It's accented by the awesome Chrome and Stainless styling of '72. The bumpers on this truck have been replaced. Also, it sports new side stainless, tailgate stainless, and the grill was replaced as well. The grill shell and rest of the stainless isn't new, but is still in great condition. To finish off the look it's sitting on set of 20" and 22" Racelines that complement the color scheme perfectly.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '72. On the inside, it features Black Carpet, Bench Seat, Door Panels, and Headliner. The bench seat had the padding redone before having a new cover installed. The door panels and headliner have been replaced along with the carpet and dash pad. You'll notice that the gas tank was moved to under the bed allowing for the JL Audio sound system to be installed. Looking at the dash you'll notice it has the aftermarket Digital Knobbed Radio to go along with the sound system. Also, you can see it has a set of aftermarket gauges under the dash that are working along with the Gas Gauge and Speedometer. The column was also upgraded to a Chrome Tilt and sports a NRG Steering Wheel. This truck is set up with Air Condition and Heat that are operated off the controls that are in the factory location.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it features 350 Crate Engine that's set up with the Hilborn Style Down Draft EFI Intake. It runs off the Fast EZ 2.0 Controller with the frame mounted Fuel Pump and the controls are in the glove box. That's not the only upgrade, as it also sports a Billet Specialties Serpentine Front Runner system with the Polished AC Compressor, Alternator, and Power Steering Pump. It also has a set of Polished valve covers to pull the look together. The cooling system was upgraded to an Aluminum Water Pump and Radiator with Dual Fans. The 350 engine is mated to the 350 Turbo trans and 12 Bolt Rear End. For exhaust it has coated Headers with 2" pipes and chambered mufflers. The fuel tank is a stainless frame mounted set up. For Brakes it comes with Power Four Wheel Disc. The stance comes from a 2" Drop Spindle up front and 5" drop springs out back. Looking at the floors you will see it appears new floors were installed, and new body bushings were installed as well. The Frame appears rock solid and everything under this truck is detailed very nice.
