Car description

Up for sale is our family's 1982 El Camino. It is a project! Was a running/driving car 10 or so years ago, but was using some oil, and the battery died, and it has pretty much sat ever since. I pumped the tires up to take some pics, but it has basically sat in the sun/elements not doing much the last ten+ years. We even kept it registered until recently
It's a 305/auto, assuming original drivetrain, as we never changed anything while we had it, and it was bought with under 100k miles. There's some hail dings on the hood, front bumper is slightly tweaked, dash cracked, windshield cracked, some misc trim missing. Driver's side door handle on the inside is broken, just misc stuff like that. I'd encourage anyone interested to come take a look in person. I DO have a truck and trailer, and can deliver for a reasonable fee depending on how far away you are. I have a clean/clear Texas title in my Dad's name, a bill of sale, title transfer paperwork, etc all filled-out ready to go.
I believe it's been a Texas truck since new. Definitely never left the Dallas area after my parent's bought it. There is no battery in it currently, but if you want to bring a battery and some fuel I don't mind helping to try and get it running. Besides the battery, nothing mechanical was ever removed. The passenger side window motor was acting funny towards the end of us driving it that we just put tape over the top couple inches when it wouldn't go up all the way, and that's the way it has been left. Original ac/power window, power lock, cloth bench seat V8 truck. Trying to think of anything else, but please ask me if there are any questions! 15" aluminum S10 wheels in the front and 14" Buick mags in the rear. Tires hold air but are OLD!!!
$200 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours via Paypal after the auction ends. The rest is either cash in person at time of pickup, or bank transfer. Payment must be 100% complete before the car leaves. I will deliver, but a nice sized deposit needs to be made before I'll load it up and head your way. Depending on how far it is, we can work something out. Have fun and happy bidding!!
