1965 C10 Custom RACE Chassis Truck
There has been a lot done to this truck so the add is very long and detailed. I do have the entire body! It is just sitting on
it not bolted together.
I have about $15,000 in this project, starting bid ONLY $9999.99 NO RESERVE!
This is a 1965 C10 Short bed fleet side truck. I bought the truck it was mostly original. I have since completely disassemble and started building what could be an awesome street or race - autocross truck. I have installed a custom 1 off mustang II type front suspension with 60" wheel track . With tubular upper and lower a-arms that are black powder coated, I have the power rack for it as well, spindles are mustang II and just stock 11" roters for rolling it around was planning to do bear or wil-wood brakes. I have plated/boxed the entire frame with nuts welded down the inside for mounting brake lines; fuel lines and wiring.. Built a custom x-member out of .125 wall 1.5" DOM tubing. The rear has been notched and narrowed for clearance of about any size tire you could want to run.The rear end housing is a 3 piece custom ford 9" with aluminum center section & .188 wall tubes and aluminum 3rd member with 3.89 true trac gears and billit input, Strange axles with screw in 1/2" studs, bolt patter is 5x4 3/4" .set up for 18" x 10"wide wheels with 4" back spacing. If you run coil-overs as I was planning to frame sits about 4" off the ground. As you can see there is countless hours of labor put into this truck not to mention the thousands of dollars worth of parts.None of the body trim or emblems are on the truck anymore, removed all of it and sold because I was shaving all of the trim. This truck will handle like it is a new Mustang or Camaro.
Wheels not included they are borrowed for mock up.I was building this for autocross and things changed .
Key Upgrades:
Mustang II Type Front end Kit
3 Piece Ford 9" Aluminum 3rd member and center section
Full Custom frame boxed, notched, etc.
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY
