Yes this is an all-black 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS with big-block power and a four on the floor. We won't blame you if you skip ahead and just call us now, but everyone else can continue to read the rest of the details on this sweet ride.
This is the kind of muscle car the draws attention and makes others jealous. A shiny black Chevelle, with chrome in all the right places like cowl induction hood, extra wide bumpers, and the trim that outlines every inch of glass. Everything else is covered in an intimidating darkness that highlights the super straight body. But just in case some were not taking notice to the midnight hero attitude, Chevrolet left extra hints on every side of the car with special SS 396 badging on the chrome grille and dark rear panel, as well as the bold "Super Sport" script on each rear fender. And of course, no aggressive Chevy is complete without the cool Rally wheel package.
The interior is just as imposing as the exterior. The deep black on the seats, doors, carpets, and dash are all products of a good restoration. The buckets are upgraded factory package code 763 when new, which makes them an attention-getter today. This package also gets a center console to frame the bright gearshift, and working clock. The view from the driver's seat is amazing. You get a three-spoke SS sports steering wheel, with its brightness continuing on the factory dash that includes 60s-cool items like the extra wide speedometer and heat/defrost controls. You can tell no expense was spared in here because pretty much no detail was missed.
Lift the hood and see that the callouts on the SS badges were certainly not lying. The engine is a 396 cubic-inch big-block Chevy V8. This big, bad motor has most of its components barely broken in, with only about 2,000 miles on the engine since its rebuild. It's nicely dressed in a proper coat of Chevy Orange. Plus, it continues with the big-block SS tradition of chrome valve covers and a bright chrome air cleaner. The motor exhales deeply through Hooker competition headers that connect to a FlowMaster dual exhaust. If you look at the undercarriage pictures, you'll notice how fresh this setup looks, and that's because the installation is only a few years old. You can get the most out of this monster motor thanks to a four-speed manual transmission, and it should provide reliable power delivery for years to come thanks to a new Centerforce Performance clutch. Control over this Chevelle is no problem thanks to power steering and sticky Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires.
This is an intimidating big-block coupe that has the exact right look, and sound to back it up. You're not the only one who's been looking for a 396 Chevelle SS like this, so we know looking this good, it won't last long in our showroom. Call today!!
